IELTS Band Score কিভাবে Calculate হয়?

Band Score Scale

IELTS 1 থেকে 9 এ score দেয়:

9: Expert user

8: Very good user

7: Good user

6: Competent user

5: Modest user

Overall Band Calculation

Overall band হলো ৪ টি module এর **average**, nearest 0.5 বা whole number এ round করা:

**Example:**

• Listening: 7.0

• Reading: 6.5

• Writing: 6.0

• Speaking: 7.0

Average: (7.0 + 6.5 + 6.0 + 7.0) / 4 = 6.625

Overall Band: 6.5 (0.625 rounds to 0.5)

Rounding Rules

• .25 → round up to 0.5

• .75 → round up to next whole number

• .125 → stays at lower 0.5 or whole

Listening & Reading

• ৪০ টি প্রশ্ন, প্রতিটি ১ mark

• Raw score → band score conversion table অনুযায়ী

Writing

• ২ জন examiner assess করেন

• ৪ criteria, প্রতিটিতে band score → average

Speaking

• ১ জন examiner

• ৪ criteria: Fluency, Pronunciation, Vocabulary, Grammar
